PDF-XChange Editor 11.0.1.0 Released

Theupdate delivers Bug Fixes for the Major v11 Upgrade.

PDF-XChange Editor, one of the most capable PDF editors for Windows, has received its first maintenance update since the landmark version 11 release: PDF-XChange Editor 11.0.1.0 is now available.

Version 11 was a major milestone that introduced a built-in AI Assistant for summarising and analysing document content, a new FreeSign tool for adding signatures directly to pages, and a revamped Open/Save dialog with seamless cloud storage navigation. If you missed version 11.0.0.0, this update is a great time to make the jump.

What's Fixed in 11.0.1.0

The 11.0.1.0 patch addresses a handful of issues reported after the v11 launch:

  • Fixed a crash in the new Open/Save dialog when creating folders on unavailable network paths
  • Fixed a rare crash on dynamic XFA forms after changing field values
  • Fixed shortcuts being lost during upgrade from a previous version
  • Fixed serial key migration failures when upgrading from version 10
  • Fixed shell context menu issues after installing version 11
  • Fixed a bug with comment filtering not working correctly
  • Fixed "Error [IO subsystem]: Invalid access mode" when converting PDFs to MS Office formats
  • Fixed context menu positioning on multi-monitor setups
  • Fixed handling of complex custom file filters in the new Open/Save dialog

If you ran into any of these issues after upgrading to v11, this patch resolves them. PDF-XChange Editor remains available in a free tier as well as paid licensed versions.
