XnView MP, the free cross-platform photo viewer, batch converter, and image manager beloved by photographers who need to handle huge, mixed-format libraries, has been updated to version 1.11.6 for Windows, macOS, and Linux.

- Added JXL (JPEG XL) 48-bit color depth support
- Added PNG cICP (coding-independent code points) support for more accurate color handling
- New Album menu for organizing images
- Embedded thumbnail support for Illustrator files
- Bug fixes: corrected batch-convert issues where some formats weren't being added, fixed a creation-date bug that affected one local drive but not another, fixed Ctrl-Drag switching to Custom Sort instead of copying within the same folder, and fixed EXIF editing not allowing seconds in timestamps
- Updated core libraries: LibHEIF 1.23.1, LibJPEGXL 1.12.0, LibRAW 0.22.2, plus a security fix for a known vulnerability
