Firefox 130 available

The latest version of the free Internet browser Mozilla Firefox is available for download and offers a number of new functions and optimizations. With Mozilla Firefox you get a browser that benefits from the large user and developer community thanks to its open source concept.

Firefox has long been a classic, even if it wasn't always like that. In the so-called second browser war, it was able to dethrone Internet Explorer in 2004. Only to be overtaken by Google Chrome itself in the meantime. Despite this, many users remain loyal to the old fox. Partly because of the add-ons they have grown fond of, partly because of concerns - they don't want to give Google, Apple or Microsoft even more data.

Besides several security fixes the new version 130 now allows translating selected text portions to different languages after a full-page translation. Firefox now also offers an easy way to try experimental features with a new Firefox Labs page in Settings. The AI Chatbot feature lets you add the chatbot of your choice to the sidebar, for quick access as you browse.
