The developers fixes ten security vulnerabilities with the new version of Google Chrome. If not updated, attackers can attack Google's Chrome web browser and execute malicious code after successful attacks.
In the according Chrome Releases Blog, Google explains that editions 120.0.60.99.62 for Linux and macOS and 120.0.60.99.62/.63 for Windows are protected against possible attacks. In total, the developers took care of ten vulnerabilities.
Malicious code gaps
Several of the vulnerabilities (CVE-2023-6508, CVE-2023-6509) are classified with a high threat level. There is not much information available at the moment. It is clear that attackers can execute their own code on systems by triggering memory errors in Media Stream, for example.
