New Kaspersky 2021 adds new functionality

The Password Manager is now integrated in all products.

Kaspersky Internet Security is still one of the popular security tools. Now their comprehensive Security Suite is available in the new 2021 version. Kaspersky Anti-Virus and Kaspersky Total Security have also received added innovations.

Like other virus scanner providers, Kaspersky offers various packages with different features: Kaspersky Security Cloud, Kaspersky Internet Security, Kaspersky Total Security and Kaspersky Anti-Virus.

Kaspersky Security Cloud 2021, Kaspersky Internet Security 2021, Kaspersky Total Security 2021 and Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2021 are intended for different areas of use, the Security Cloud offers a security approach across all devices, whereas they also offer the pure virus scanner Anti-Virus. Internet Security bundles add privacy protection and Total Security adds parental control, a password manager and a backup tool.

New in Kaspersky 2021 is the detection of stalker ware, a special form of spyware with which victims are tracked every step of the way on the Internet. Stalker ware collects all types of data regardless of the type of device a stalker victim is using, it affects both desktop and mobile devices.

The Kaspersky Password Manager will be integrated into all products. The premium version is only available in the expensive versions Kaspersky Security Cloud and Kaspersky Total Security, while all other Kaspersky packages have a limited, free version of the Password Manager. The free version is limited to 15 entries.

Kaspersky proceeds in a similar way with their VPN service. The supplied VPN has a limit of 300 MB per day. If you want to get rid of the traffic limit or have more servers, you will be asked to pay extra.

The third major innovation is the extended check for e-mail addresses of online accounts used. The account verification function in Kaspersky Security Cloud now automatically checks whether the email addresses used to log in to online accounts have been compromised.

To sum it up their target group are users who want more options around security and are not satisfied with the lean approach of Windows Defender.
