Google Chrome 142.0.7444.175 / .176 update available
The update fixes 2 security vulnerabilities, one of which is already circulating in the wild.
Google released a security update for the Chrome browser. The update patched two vulnerabilities CVE-2025-13223 and CVE-2025-13224. Both were rated as high. CVE-2025-13223 is already circulating in the wild.
This means that this vulnerability is already being exploited. With the update, the version number increases to 142.0.7444.175 or 142.0.7444.176. An update for Android is still pending, as the security vulnerabilities from the desktop version are always patched there as well.
