Windows 10: Cumulative update fixes errors
The new KB4586853 update is now available for download as a preview.
Microsoft has made available a cumulative update for Windows 10, which fixes a number of errors. It is available as a preview for download now.
A pre-release version of the new cumulative update is available for Windows 10 version 2004 and Windows version 20H2 with autumn 2020 update. The update KB4586853 is still marked as Preview and is only available as an optional update via Windows Update in the Windows 10 versions mentioned. Alternatively, KB4586853 can also be downloaded from the Microsoft Update Catalog and installed manually.
With the preview update KB4586853 various bugs will be fixed. Microsoft calls it a quality update, which does not solve any security-related problems.
If you are not affected by the problems solved, you can wait until Microsoft is regularly delivering the update to all users as a mandatory update, which should happen in the next few days and weeks. There will be no new preview updates in December, because the developers are taking a break at Christmas time and will not continue their work until January 2021.
