Microsoft released the update for Microsoft Edge 138.0.3351.109 in the Stable channel. Two security vulnerabilities (CVE-2025-8010, CVE-2025-8011) originating in Chromium were fixed. Additionally, a feature was added for the business version. The usage of the feature requires a Microsoft 365 Copilot license and can be controlled via the "EdgeEntraCopilotPageContext" policy. With this new feature Microsoft Copilot in Edge now supports page summaries and contextual queries for the Work tab in Microsoft 365 Copilot Business Chat. This feature allows users to ask Copilot contextual queries, such as Summarize this page. This feature also includes contextual prompts to help users ask relevant questions about open pages in Edge. Page summaries and contextual prompts are available to users when using Copilot via the Edge Pages panel."
