KeePass update available for download
The new version 2.45 for the password manager has been released.
The open source password manager KeePass has been released in the new version 2.45. The developers of the open source tool recommend switching from any previous version to the new version. The update offers some innovations, improvements and bugfixes.
Support for opening URLs in the private mode of the Chromium-based Microsoft browser Edge and in the Vivaldi browser has been added. It is also practical to define a new standard user name, which is always used when a new entry is generated in the KeePass database. If a new entry is created in the KeePass database in which the password field is empty, this field is now also filled out with a randomly generated complex password. KeePass now warns users if they try to use a rather insecure master password. There are also various improvements in all components of the password manager.
More information regarding the latest version 2.45 can be found on the KeePass website.
