Foxit PDF Reader and Editor 2026.1.0.36452 available
The updates fix security vulnerabilities and add new features.
Foxit PDF Reader and Foxit Editor have received an update, bringing the version number to 2026.1.0.36452. This update fixes seven security vulnerabilities that were present in versions 2025.3.0.35737 and earlier.
Additionally improvements and fixes were also implemented. These include:

New: An Action Inspector feature is now available that analyzes JavaScript actions in documents as soon as users open them and immediately alerts users to any potential risks if detected.

New: A "Chats" tab has been added to the Foxit PDF Reader home screen, allowing users to easily manage their AI chat history for different documents.

An option has been added to hide the cursor when drawing with the pencil tool on tablet devices, improving the stylus editing experience and addressing pressure sensitivity issues.

Users can enable overprint preview to accurately display overprinting effects and ensure correct visual output for PDFs in print production.

Support for enterprise deployment via the Foxit Customization Wizard or Group Policy allows administrators to enable the Foxit eSign feature for internet access, even if internet access is disabled for all other features.

The pre-check has been improved, so that converting an entire PDF file to grayscale is now possible in a single step. (Pro only)
