New Chrome-like Edge browser available for testing

Download the in-development version from the Microsoft Edge Insider website.

Microsoft's anticipated Chromium based Edge browser is now available to download! You can download the in-development Dev and Canary versions from the Microsoft Edge Insider website. They say the browser's beta version will be 'coming soon'. The Dev and Canary builds of the new Edge browser are available to Windows 10 users (64-bit) only at the moment.

The Dev Channel version is the most stable option available for you and will be updated frequently by the Microsoft Edge team. Canary Channel build updates will be available on a daily basis. It will probably be less stable, but provides the latest in development of the new Edge browser.

The new Edge browser is based on Chromium. The existing Chrome extensions are supported. Users should be able to sync their personal settings such as favorites, browsing history and more from Google's Chrome.
