Bitwarden 2025.6.2 launches with some improvements for the password manager.

Improvements that were implemented. Here's an overview:

Password Manager

• Persistence in browser extensions when adding and editing items: Browser extensions now cache changes to item data for up to two minutes, even if you close or minimize the extension window.
• Browser extension notifications redesign: Browser extension notifications have a new look and feel.
• Enhanced mobile app troubleshooting: In mobile apps, users now have the ability to log app events locally and temporarily to troubleshoot unexpected behavior in the Bitwarden app.

Sync Bitwarden Authenticator

• TOTPs with Password Manager: Users now have the ability to seamlessly sync verification code data between Bitwarden Authenticator and Password Manager.

Improvements in version 2025..6.1

Admin Console Member Permissions Update

• The "Manage Account Recovery" custom role grants permission to reset organization members' master passwords. All further actions on the member screen also require the "Manage Users" permission.

Self-hosted rootless containers for Helm

• Helm deployments can now run Bitwarden in rootless mode.

The individual downloads are updated periodically. A new batch was added last night.

Removed support for users without user keys. Removed feature flags. Dependency updates, minor improvements, and bug fixes.
