Kodi 18.6 update available with bug fixes
The new version of the popular media center software offer many improvements.
David FischerThe popular free media center software Kodi has been released in the new version 18.6. The update does not add new functionality, but fixes some errors. These relate to the areas of audio, build system, games, user interface, playback and display.
The developers in Kodi 18.6 have fixed bugs around the visualization effects. Pause & Resume should work better now. The developers fixed bugs while starting disc images and ZIP archives. You can read the full changelog with all bug fixes here.
As a classic media center software, Kodi manages and plays most videos, music, pictures and games. But Kodi also enables streaming of music and videos from a variety of sources such as Spotify, Twitch or Live TV through numerous add-ons. Kodi plays most media formats and codecs such as AAC, Flac or H.264 and H.265. In order to enjoy the media experience from the couch, the interface also supports large TVs and the use of a remote control. As an open source project, you can customize Kodi with numerous add-ons and skins from the website.
Kodi 18.6 is available for free download for Windows, Linux, macOS and Android as well as iOS.
