Google Chrome update fixes dangerous security vulnerability
Google has released a Chrome update to fix a security vulnerability. Users should update to version 80.0.3987.132.

Google does state what changes the update brings, but does not provide any details about the vulnerability. Users should now install version 80.0.3987.132.
Google Chrome desktop users should install the latest update as soon as possible. Google has released a patch that closes three security holes. One of them is already being actively used by cybercriminals. The vulnerability, listed under CVE-2020-6418, was found on February 18 by a Google security expert from the company's Threat Analysis Group.
Attackers have the option of importing malicious code onto the respective computer via Chrome. Check in the settings that version 80.0.3987.132 is installed. This contains the current patch status and is safe from the current dangers. The update is available for Windows, Mac and Linus. There is no information yet for updates to the mobile Chrome app.
