Google Chrome 113 is available for users and due to some security vulnerabilities, this update should be installed promptly.

Google has rolled out a stable update for the Chrome browser for Windows, macOS and Linux. The latest version 113 has been released. The new version carries the build number 113.0.5672.76/.77 for Android and 113.0.5672.63 for MacOS. For Linux it is 113.0.5672.63 and for Windows 113.0.5672.63/.64.

15 vulnerabilities fixed

The new version also includes stability and performance improvements. A full list of changes can be found in the Git log. Android versions contain the same security fixes as the corresponding desktop versions unless otherwise noted.

Google has fixed 15 vulnerabilities with this release, unlike the last few times, none have been found with a severity of High. Visit the Chrome security page for more information.

Whether the version used on the computer is already up to date can be checked by clicking on the Chrome menu - which is hidden to the right of the address bar behind the symbol with three vertically stacked dots -, from there to Help - Check via Google Chrome.

The dialog shows the version currently in use, starts downloading and installing the update if necessary, and then prompts you to restart your browser.
