Glow 26.9: Better CPU Detection, RAM Vendor ID, and Network Privacy for Windows

Glow, the free open-source system information tool and alternative to Piriform Speccy, has been updated to version 26.9. This release focuses on hardware detection accuracy, expanded RAM identification, and a new network privacy option.

Expanded CPU Detection Glow now recognizes a broader range of processors, including the latest Intel and AMD generations as well as niche and embedded chips that often confuse other system info tools.
Wider RAM Vendor Identification The JEDEC vendor database has been expanded to cover more popular memory brands, including Patriot, PNY, Team Group, GeIL, Lexar (Longsys), and Asgard/Gloway. If you've ever seen "Unknown" next to your RAM manufacturer, this update is likely to fix that.
Network Privacy: Hiding Mode A new Public IP Address and ISP field has been added to the Network section. Crucially, a Hiding Mode option prevents those requests from being sent to external services at all, useful for privacy-conscious users.
Smarter Search The search engine inside the Installed Drivers, Installed Services, and Installed Applications sections now supports partial matches, initials, and loosely arranged character sequences, making it much easier to find what you're looking for.
UI Polish The TS Custom Controls module has been updated to version 26.6, delivering improved stability and a cleaner visual appearance throughout the app.
