VLC Player update available

An updated version of the widely popular open-source software is available.

The VLC media player has been one of the most popular free tools. It is now available in version 3.0.10 for Windows as well as Linux and macOS. To install the update just download the new installer and start the installation.

The new version is of particular interest for users who stream Twitch via the VLC player, because the underlying scripts have received an update, as well as the VLSub scripts. Additionally the open source media player will soon support Apple AirPlay natively. This could be used to stream videos from VLC on an Android smartphone directly to an Apple TV or other devices with AirPlay support.

VLC media player also allow to customize toolbars and skins. It also supports playback for broken files now, as well as zipped files.
