Google has released a security update for Chrome 80 that closes several vulnerabilities. Microsoft Edge and Vivaldi also released updates immediately.

In the Chrome Release Blog, Srinivas Sista lists three vulnerabilities that were discovered by external security researchers. Google classifies the three gaps as high risk. Microsoft has updated its browser Edge (Chromium-based) to version 80.0.361.109, which fixes the same vulnerabilities as in the latest version of Chrome. The same applies to Vivaldi, which is now available in version 2.11.1811.51. The current Opera version 67.0.3575.115, however, still corresponds to the version of Chrome version 80.0.3987.149.
