The fast Foxit Reader is a good alternative to the Adobe Reader.

The Foxit PDF Reader is a lean and fast PDF reader that does not have to hide behind his big brother the Adobe Acrobat Reader. Cloud support is also part of the range of functions included, as is the creation of PDF documents from all Microsoft Office applications.
