Thunderbird 102.8.0 update available

The update fixes a number of vulnerabilities.

The Mozilla subsidiary MZLA Technologies has released its Thunderbird 102.8.0 mail program. With the update, the manufacturer eliminates 13 security gaps.

The update to Thunderbird 102.8.0 for Windows, macOS and Linux fixes 13 vulnerabilities. Most of these vulnerabilities in Thunderbird can hardly be exploited, because script operations are disabled when reading mail.

There is no Thunderbird version for Android yet. But MZLA has taken over the open-source mail app K-9 Mail, which will eventually become Thunderbird for Android. But it is not yet known when K-9 Mail will become Thunderbird for Android.
