Update for Chrome 126.0.6478.127/127 available

David FischerGoogle has released another security update for Chrome 126. The developers have eliminated five vulnerabilities.
With the new Chrome versions 126.0.6478.127/128 for Windows and macOS and 126.0.6478.126 for Linux, Google is fixing several vulnerabilities in its browser besides various additional fixes from internal audits.
The Chrome Release Blog lists four of the five security vulnerabilities that were discovered by external security researchers. Google classifies these vulnerabilities as a high risk.
Two weeks ago, Google released the new Chrome version 126. Chrome usually updates itself automatically when a new version is available.
You can find out whether the current version is already active on your computer using the Chrome version dialog. This can be opened by clicking on the settings menu, which is located behind the symbol with the three vertically stacked dots to the right of the address bar. It can be found there under Help – About Google Chrome.
