Google Chrome version 110 available

The update fixes numerous vulnerabilities.

Google has released version 110 of Chrome. Specifically, there is Chrome 110.0.5481.77 for macOS and Linux and 110.0.5481.77/.78 for Windows.

With the release, Google fixes numerous vulnerabilities. A total of 15 vulnerabilities were reported that could be closed, 3 of which have the severity High.

Details on most vulnerabilities will not be released until most users are up and running with the secure version.

The Extended Stable Channel has been updated to 110.0.5481.78 for Windows and 110.0.5481.77 for Mac and will be released in the next few days/weeks.

Chrome users should check whether they are already using the current version. To do this, they have to go to the Chrome menu, which opens by clicking on the symbol with the three vertically stacked dots to the right of the address bar. The corresponding dialog can be found there under Help - About Google Chrome.

It will display the current version or this will start downloading and installing the update. Finally, the dialog indicates that the web browser needs to be restarted and offers this as an option.
