Firefox 81.0.1 available for download
The update fixes several problems in Firefox 81.0.
David FischerWith Firefox 81.0.1 for Windows, Mozilla has released a bugfixed version of its browser. Compared to Firefox 81 released in September the developers corrected errors in the new version. No new functions were added, as the Release Notes for Firefox 81.0.1 show.
The developers fixed a bug that caused content to be missing on the Blackboard virtual learning platform. Additionally various printer problems have also been eliminated in the new version.
Firefox 81.0 showed controls for the picture-in-picture function even on websites that only had audio content. This has been fixed with the update. In addition, a memory problem when using certain add-ons such as Disconnect has been fixed. Also problems have been resolved that impaired the stability of the browser.
