Firefox 78.0.1 is available for download
The new version offers some innovations and improvements.

Mozilla has started the distribution of the new Firefox 78. This new browser version is available via the auto-update function for users of older versions.
The Protections Dashboard now includes consolidated reports about tracking protection, data breaches, and password management. New features let you track how many breaches a user have resolved right from the dashboard and see, if any of your saved passwords may have been exposed in a data breach.
Firefox now offers more convenience when dealing with PDFs. When downloading PDF documents, Firefox now shows the option to open these PDFs directly in Firefox. Previously, you had to download these PDFs from the Download Manager and then open them in Firefox or another PDF viewer.
The Firefox uninstaller now has a cleaner button with which Firefox can be cleaned. The function helps users with problems with Firefox. Users can then use Firefox again with the default settings instead of completely uninstalling it. This cleanup also removes installed add-ons.
Screensavers do no longer interrupt WebRTC conversations in Firefox.
WebRender is now activated for all Windows users with Intel GPUs. This should ensure an improved graphics performance.
The developers fixed bugs in the search results quality composition and improved search result texts based on recommendations.
