Chromium-based browser updates based on Chrome 98.0.4758.102 available
Chrome 98.0.4758.102 fixed 11 vulnerabilities.
David FischerAmong others, Google fixed a 0-day vulnerability with an update for Chrome 98. Several manufacturers of other Chromium-based browsers have provided updates to fix these and other vulnerabilities as well.
The February 14 update to Chrome 98.0.4758.102 fixed 11 vulnerabilities in the Google browser and its open source Chromium base, including a 0-day vulnerability (CVE-2022-0609).
Several manufacturers of Chromium-based browsers have now followed suit with appropriate security updates. So far these are Microsoft Edge, Brave and Vivaldi. Opera has not releasedan update so far.
One day after Google's Chrome update, Vivaldi 5.1.2567.46, which is based on Chromium version 98.0.4758.105, was released. The manufacturer also fixes a few other bugs.
Microsoft released its new Edge version 98.0.1108.55 based on Chromium 98.0.4758.102 on February 16. Brave 1.35.103 also released an update already.
The latest Opera version 84.0.4316.14 is still based on Chromium 98.0.4758.82.
