Brave 1.39.122 and Vivaldi 5.3.2679.55 and other browser updates available

Chromium-based browser updates available to fix several vulnerabilities.

After Google's security update for Chrome, other Chromium-based browsers reacted quick and now also offer updates to fix several vulnerabilities.

A few days ago Google released a first security update for Chrome 102. The new version eliminated seven security vulnerabilities. Other Chromium-based browsers have now followed and updated their software also. These are Brave, Vivaldi and Opera.

Brave released the new browser version 1.39.122 just one day after Google's Chrome update. It is also based on Chromium version 102.0.5005.115. The Vivaldi released an update on June 12 with Vivaldi 5.3.2679.55. It is already based on the newer Chromium version 102.0.5005.125.

On Monday, Opera also followed and updated the Opera browser to version 88.0.4412.40. As with Chrome and Brave, also based on Chromium version 102.0.5005.115.
