Vivaldi can now enable full-screen browsing without actually activating full-screen mode. With version 7.9, Vivaldi has released this feature for everyone. The tab bar, address bar, and toolbars can now be hidden using Auto-Hide.
The feature can be enabled in the settings under Appearance -> Auto-Hide UI. Here you can also select which bars should be hidden. If you prefer not to do it automatically, you can use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + F11. If you have the status bar enabled, you will also see an icon.
If the toolbars are set to auto-hide, simply moving the mouse to the edge of the screen will reveal the respective toolbar. This allows you to use more space for your website while still having access to all functions, tabs, and bookmarks.

Links in posts you want to read later
The context menu now offers Open Link -> As Tiled Tab. The page opens in a tiled view right next to what you're currently reading. Side by side, instantly. Any further links you click in your original tab will still load in the Followers tab. Your original page stays exactly where it was. You maintain a clear overview.
Email functionality
There have also been improvements to Vivaldi's email functionality. The email editor now opens in a separate window. Users have now have the option to save selected messages to their hard drive, so they can save copies of the messages you deem necessary in a different location.
