Sysinternals Suite Refreshed to Build 2026.07.05

Two of the highest-profile updates land in tools nearly every admin already has pinned to a USB stick: Autoruns and ProcDump.

Microsoft has rolled out a new dated build of the Sysinternals Suite, the bundle of Mark Russinovich's Windows troubleshooting utilities used by IT pros, sysadmins, and power users everywhere. Build 2026.07.05 pulls in the current versions of every tool in the pack, and two of the highest-profile updates land in tools nearly every admin already has pinned to a USB stick: Autoruns and ProcDump.

What's New

  • Autoruns v14.2 Now inspects Windows packaged (MSIX/Store) apps for startup triggers, surfacing them in a new "Packaged Apps" tab. Previously, Autoruns only had this level of visibility into classic Win32 startup entries, letting Store-delivered or sideloaded apps hide their autostart behavior from view.
  • ProcDump v12.0 Adds a -pt flag for process-tree dumps, letting you capture a parent process and all of its children in one pass instead of dumping each process individually.
  • ZoomIt v12.0 The screen magnification and annotation tool gains webcam overlay support for recordings and the ability to append clips in the video trim editor.
  • Process Explorer v17.12 Adds a "Parent PID" column to the main view and fixes a crash-on-exit bug.
  • Process Monitor v4.02 Adds Ctrl+PgUp/PgDn for faster (10-page) scrolling in the main list, shows millisecond precision in the Process Tree dialog, and fixes several API mismatches.
  • DebugView v5.01 and NotMyFault v4.5 also get bug fixes and small feature additions, including reinstated Windows 10 support for DebugView and a new SecureKernel crash type for NotMyFault.
  • Linux tools Sysmon, Procmon, ProcDump, and jcd for Linux have been updated with support for RHEL 10, Debian 13, and Fedora 43.
