What's New in Version 2.8.1
This release is entirely fixes, no new features:
- Fixed multiple bugs in AddExisting that could occasionally add duplicate image entries or skip some XHTML imports
- Fixed a bug where alt-image URLs on math tags weren't properly updated when files were moved or renamed
- Prevented a crash in the Python
replacefunction when handling regex expressions that PCRE2 recognizes but Python'sremodule can't - Fixed a bug re-opening BBEdit.app on macOS via "Open With" when BBEdit was already running
- Launching PageEdit on macOS via the Preferred XEditor now always spawns a new copy of the PageApp
- Fixed newlines occasionally being added to CSS files, which threw off sync-to-style
- Fixed Mend and Prettify not working in Code View after a resource name change
- Fixed a dropped newline in the TOC HTML writer that misaligned the Preview pane
- Added workarounds for macOS Tahoe bugs that prevented modal native dialogs from working
- Fixed the busy cursor not clearing during "Create an HTML TOC" import requests
