PeaZip, the free and open-source archive manager for Windows, macOS, and Linux, has been updated to version 11.2.0. The release focuses on everyday usability rather than headline features, reworking how users navigate the app's dense menu of archiving and file-management tools.
What's new
The centerpiece of 11.2.0 is a new F12 Functions picker, a searchable command palette that lets users find any of PeaZip's supported functions and apply it directly to selected files or archives, without digging through nested menus. Alongside it, the release ships:
- Overhauled keyboard shortcuts throughout the interface
- Improved drag-and-drop behavior
- Automatic refresh in the built-in file manager view
