Ocenaudio 3.20.1 adds genuinely useful new capabilities to this free, cross-platform audio editor known for real-time effect previews and its spectrogram view.

• Open and save files over SSH/SFTP (ssh://) directly, includes ssh_config-aware connections (with ProxyJump support), a credentials dialog, host-key confirmation, and remembered usernames per host
• Multi-track subtitle (SRT) export and region import, with a new File > Export Track menu and per-group sidecar files for linked or multilingual tracks
• New HTTP/HTTPS remote file loading engine built on libcurl, faster, with HTTP/2 support
• Improved volume control on macOS with a native Cocoa slider

• Spectrum corruption and slow frequency analysis on Apple (vDSP) systems

• VST plugins missing from some packages, and issues detecting newly installed VST3 plugins
• Meter and playhead lag, by decoupling loudness/true-peak metering from the DSP engine
