Obsidian 1.13.1 Released With Settings Polish And Bug Fixes

Obsidian, the popular offline-first Markdown note-taking app for Windows (and macOS/Linux), has released version 1.13.1.

This update is a polish-and-stability release building on the 1.13.0 early-access milestone, with a handful of handy improvements to the Settings interface alongside several bug fixes.

What's New in Obsidian 1.13.1

Improved Settings navigation Sliders throughout the Settings panel now display a permanent inline value label instead of burying the current value inside a tooltip, a small but noticeable quality-of-life win. When you search within a settings group, the list now automatically filters to match your query. Navigating back in Settings restores focus to the exact item you came from, and the mouse back-button now works inside the Settings pane. You can also reorder items in setting lists using Alt+Arrow Up / Arrow Down.

Embedded web content fixed Navigation inside embedded web content (Obsidian's internal webview) was broken for some users. That's now resolved.

CodeMirror upgraded The underlying code editor engine (CodeMirror) has been updated to the latest version, bringing performance improvements and compatibility fixes to Obsidian's editor.

Community plugins list improved The layout of the community plugins browser received a visual refresh for better readability.

iOS Fixes (bonus)

The same release also addresses iOS-specific issues: Settings pages now scroll fully into view when the on-screen keyboard is visible, the Share Sheet no longer crashes when sharing screenshots, and the Live Preview editor correctly handles the Enter key inside Markdown lists.
