OBS Studio 32.2.0 Released
The feature set carries over unchanged from the first beta back in June, but the list of bug fixes has grown considerably since then.
After nearly a month of beta and release-candidate testing, the OBS Project has released OBS Studio 32.2.0 as the final, stable version. The feature set carries over unchanged from the first beta back in June, but the list of bug fixes has grown considerably since then.
OBS Studio is the free, open-source app millions of streamers and screen-recorders rely on for live streaming and high-quality capture, so this release is worth grabbing as soon as your workflow allows.
What's new in 32.2.0
- The "Add Source" dropdown menu has been replaced with a new dialog
- Improved UI for FPS selection
- Added support for missing files in filters
- Plugins can now set custom icons for new source types
- .webp files are now recognized when adding a directory to the Image Slideshow source
- Copy and paste functions added to the frontend API
- New filter for compositing SDR to HDR
- Keyboard shortcut for deleting sources added on macOS
- Added support for dynamic bitrate in multi-track video
Changes and fixes

- Fixed the audio mixer state getting out of sync when settings were changed via WebSockets or plugins
- Slightly improved OpenGL performance on low-end machines
- New capture devices now default to the fallback frame rate
- Improved DLL-loading behavior on Windows
- A long list of additional smaller bug fixes
