A new update to version 8.9.5 is now available for the Notepad++ editor. This update is a maintenance release only. The update includes around 8 fixes.
Release notes
- Fixed an update issue where using the v8.9.4 32-bit installer created duplicate entries under "Uninstall a program."
- Fixed an error message in the v8.9.4 64-bit installer caused by MSIX on Windows 10.
- Fixed a regression in UDL XML files that led to an issue with EOL parsing.
- Added an option to synchronize the zoom level across all views.
- Fixed a bug where the MSI installer wrote language information to HKCU instead of HKLM.
- Fixed a bug where imported UDLs did not appear in the Language menu without restarting Notepad++.
- The "(?)" tooltip in the Settings and "Find in Files" dialogs is now permanently displayed, and the display delay has been reduced.
- Fixed a visual glitch in the Mark dialog when in reduced mode.
- Updated Scintilla to 5.6.2 and Lexilla to 5.4.9.
