Notepad++ 8.9.1 released as a maintenance update

Notepad++ 8.9.1 has dropped as a fresh maintenance patch, tightening the bolts after the December security update. This update delivers a solid batch of bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements.
What's new
Most of the bugs were spotted by the community and swiftly patched by the devs, proving once again that teamwork wins matches.
According to the patch notes, duplicate end-of-line markers no longer respawn when replaying old macro recordings. Search crashes caused by pasted text with hidden end-of-line characters have been eliminated. Broken context menu separators that vanished from the FolderName submenu have been restored to their rightful place. A nasty bug where one undo command rolled back multiple actions after a macro run has been defeated. A visual glitch that appeared when dragging dockable panels onto a second monitor has been fixed. The search dialog no longer randomly switches modes from RegEx to Extended like a misfiring ability. URL parsing issues triggered by special Unicode characters have been patched. The search dialog now clearly warns players when invisible characters are lurking in the input.
