NetSpeedTray, the lightweight open-source utility that shows your live upload and download speeds right in the Windows taskbar, has been updated to version 2.1.4. It's a maintenance release, but it fixes a few annoyances that taskbar-widget users will appreciate.
What's New
- Auto-hide taskbar fix: Corrects how the speed readout behaves when the Windows taskbar is set to auto-hide, so the widget no longer misbehaves in that configuration.
- CPU temperature reading fix: Resolves an issue where the optional CPU temperature display was reporting incorrect values.
- Antivirus false-positive cleared: Addresses a false-positive detection that was flagging the app in some antivirus products.
- Builds on the version 2.0 redesign, where the speed readout moved from floating on top of the taskbar to docking directly inside it, with mini-graphs, CSV export, and light/dark theme support.
