LibreWolf, the privacy-hardened, Firefox-based browser for Windows, has been updated to 153.0.1-1, syncing it with the upstream Firefox 153.0.1 patch release.

Since LibreWolf tracks Firefox's release notes for its underlying engine changes, this update carries over Firefox 153.0.1's fixes, including:
- A fix for a startup crash on Windows that could occur after updating the browser
- Fixes for audio playback issues and other stability problems introduced in Firefox 153
Why it matters
LibreWolf strips out Mozilla's telemetry, studies, and data-collection features by default, blocks third-party trackers, resists fingerprinting, and tightens cookie handling — while staying compatible with most Firefox extensions, including privacy tools like uBlock Origin. Because it rebases on top of Firefox's code, LibreWolf users benefit from Mozilla's bug fixes without any of the built-in tracking. This update is mainly a stability patch, so it's worth grabbing if you hit crashes or audio glitches after the last update.
