A new update to version 25.8.4 is available for the LibreOffice office suite. As usual, the community played a significant role in its development. The update delivers over 70 fixes, improving the suite’s performance, reliability, and interoperability. LibreOffice users are encouraged to install the update at their earliest convenience.
LibreOffice 25.8.4 is built on the highly robust LibreOffice technology platform, which enables the development of desktop, mobile, and cloud applications by both TDF and ecosystem partners. The platform ensures full interoperability by supporting both major document formats: the native open standard ODF (Open Document Format, including ODT, ODS, and ODP) and the proprietary Microsoft OOXML formats (DOCX, XLSX, and PPTX).
LibreOffice Technology–based products are available across all major desktop operating systems - Windows, macOS, Linux, and Chrome OS - as well as on mobile platforms (Android and iOS) and in cloud environments.
