Google Chrome 148.0.7778.217 update available

Patches a jaw-dropping 151 security vulnerabilities. Microsoft Edge 148 also updated.

The new Chrome 148.0.7778.216 / 148.0.7778.217 closes a total of 151 security vulnerabilities, 22 of them rated Critical, the rest classified as High, with 6 rated Medium.

Many of the vulnerabilities were discovered internally by Google's own security teams, while several of the Critical-rated flaws were reported by external researchers who received bug bounty payouts.
