Google Chrome 143 available

The update fixes 13 security vulnerabilities.

Google Chrome 143 (143.0.7499.40 / 143.0.7499.41) is available and fixes 13 security vulnerabilities. The new desktop version for Linux, Windows, and macOS is 143.0.7499.40 or 143.0.7499.41. A total of 13 security vulnerabilities were patched, four of which were rated as High.

The "Extended Stable" version, which remains at 142, has also received an update to 142.0.7499.226. The Android version has also been updated to 143.0.7499.52, and it addresses the same security vulnerabilities as the desktop version. According to the release notes, the update will be rolled out over the next few days.

Detailed information about the individual vulnerabilities will be published once the majority of browsers have been updated. The other Chromium-based browsers will then also receive the update shortly. Opera is an exception, as it always uses an older stable version. In my Developer 126 build, it's Chromium 141. Microsoft has scheduled the Edge update for tomorrow.
