A new update to version 3.0.6 is available for The GIMP. The last stable update was released in May 2025. In the meantime, however, work has already begun on GIMP 3.2, and the second preview version 3.1.4 has already been released.
The according release notes show numerous fixes have been made, including false-positive warnings in anti-virus software. These messages should no longer appear.
