Ghost Downloader 3.10 available
Tasks can now have their own User-Agent, proxy, and request headers.
The Ghost Downloader 3 is an open-source download manager for Windows built around aggressive multi-threading. It can split a single file into up to 253 parallel streams to max out your connection. This release adds more per-task flexibility and polishes the foundation for future plugins.
What's New
Tasks can now have their own User-Agent, proxy, and request headers, removing the need to change global settings for one-off downloads. User-Agent presets can be saved and switched with one click.
The Feature Pack developer interface has been finalized, preparing for an upcoming plugin ecosystem.
A Settings page UI bug was fixed where icons and text overlapped on some items.
Other capabilities worth knowing about: clipboard monitoring for auto-capturing copied links, hash verification (MD5, SHA1, SHA256), breakpoint resume, Windows 11 Fluent Design UI with Mica/Acrylic effects, and native Windows toast notifications.
Ghost Downloader 3 is free and open source (MIT licence).
