For anyone new to it: CPU-Z is the go-to free Windows utility for reading detailed hardware information from your PC. It shows you exactly what processor, memory, motherboard, and graphics hardware you have, down to core configurations, cache sizes, bus speeds, and memory timings. It's a staple for PC builders, overclockers, and anyone who wants to know what's actually running under the hood.


What's New in CPU-Z 2.20.2

🔵 Intel Arc G3 & G3 Extreme (Panther Lake) Support

The headline addition is detection for Intel's Arc G3 and Arc G3 Extreme processors — Intel's new "Panther Lake" chips designed for gaming handhelds and thin-and-light laptops. These are the chips powering the new MSI Claw 8 EX AI+ and similar upcoming devices, featuring Intel's Xe3 GPU architecture.

🟢 AMD Ryzen AI Max 400 "Gorgon Halo"

The 2.20 series also brought support for AMD's Ryzen AI Max 400 (codenamed "Gorgon Halo") APUs — AMD's answer to high-performance integrated graphics for premium laptops.

💾 HUDIMM & HSODIMM Memory Detection

CPU-Z now correctly identifies HUDIMM (High-bandwidth Unified DIMM) and HSODIMM memory modules, newer form factors appearing in next-generation laptops designed for tighter memory bandwidth.
