Brave 1.95.101 Released

Chromium 153 Under the Hood, Address Bar Calculator, and Container Tweaks.

Brave's release channel has moved to version 1.95.101, bringing the browser onto Chromium 153.0.8010.37 along with a handful of workflow and privacy-container refinements.

What's new

  • Upgraded engine to Chromium 153.0.8010.37.
  • Address bar now shows calculator results for basic math expressions typed directly into it.
  • New "Always use mini icon for containers" option under brave://settings/braveContent when Containers are enabled.
  • Container name now shown on tab hover cards, plus support for temporary containers via a command-line switch.
  • Re-added the keyboard shortcut for toggling between vertical and horizontal tabs, and added a new shortcut for "Close all duplicate tabs."
  • Password import from Brave release-channel builds now works on macOS and Linux.
  • Wallet: added a Zcash Ironwood migration banner and fixed a bug where the wallet permission list only appeared after a page refresh.
  • Fixed "Edit Password" incorrectly showing a "chrome://" scheme instead of "brave://" for internal page bookmarks.

The update rolls out through Brave's normal auto-update channel.
