VLC Player 3.0.8 security update fixes vulnerabilities

VideoLan has released an update for VLC media player which includes security fixes.

A new version 3.0.8 of the VLC media player hast been released with bugfixes for all important components of VLC. The YouTube script has been updated to fix a video acceleration issue with hardware acceleration associated with some AMD drivers. The Stream Filter component has an improved network buffering.

When playing some MP4 files, the channels were sometimes arranged incorrect. This bug in the Demux component has been fixed and also issues with processing HLS streams. According to the developers, the stuttering image problems with the playback of with low frame rate videos have also been fixed.
