The new version fixes a total of eleven security vulnerabilities and Google Chrome users should install the newly available update, because a security vulnerability is already being exploited.

Google has released new updates 104.0.5112.102/101 for Windows and 104.0.5112.101 for Mac and Linux for the Chrome browser. As can be seen from the Chrome Releases Blog, a total of eleven security vulnerabilities have been fixed, six of which are rated high and one as critical.

Google itself is aware that an exploit for the CVE-2022-2856 vulnerability already exists on the web. This means that criminals are already using it. Google does not give details about the security gaps, as they want to prevent cybercriminals from taking advantage of it.

Installing the new update is strongly recommended for Chrome users. Chrome updates are available through the built-in update functionality. They are usually downloaded and installed automatically. If you do not want to wait, you can also initiate the update manually under Help » About Google Chrome.
