Email client Thunderbird gets big update to version 68
The popular mail client comes with with new features and disables old add-ons.
Boris WeberThe popular mail client jumps to version 68 with many new features and improvements. Thunderbird is now available in version 68.1.0. The update brings benefits for Office365 users. Several bugs were also fixed as you can see in the Release Notes.
The new Version 68.1.0 now allows Office365 users to configure Exchange accounts using third-party add-ons. Some security vulnerabilities have also been fixed. In the changelog on the official website you can read more about the new features of version 68.1.0.
Thunderbird version 68.1 is only offered as direct download and not as upgrade from Thunderbird version 60 or earlier.
